Motorola Tundra, The Old Mobile Phones Look-Alike
Last year, Motorola introduces Motorola Tundra, the clamshell mobile phone is designed to withstand the most strenuous conditions and built to military standards. Its design looks durable and versatile, very look like old mobile phones design in my opinion. The Motorola Tundra features are very suite for you who spend much time in tough work environments such as landscapers and contractors.
But behind its old mobile phones look alike, the Tundra has a GPS features so it can be used for accessing GPS service and enables advanced location and optional add-on enterprise tracking services.
Powered by Motorola CrystalTalk Plus technology that helps reduce background noise, Motorola Tundra provides superior call quality. This mobile phone runs on the quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies. Although the design looks like the old mobile phones, the Tundra offers several features including support dual-band high-speed 3G network (HSDPA/UMTS), instant messaging from popular services like Windows Live, Yahoo! and AOL, mobile email and text messaging. And those are not all. Tundra also features multi-format digital audio player, MicroSD memory expansion to 8 GB, Bluetooth connectivity for stereo music streaming and handsfree devices, and a 2-megapixel camera.
This clamshell phone measures 3.85 x 2.10 x 0.96 inches and weighs 4.94 ounces. Although it looks like the old mobile phones, they are durable enough to withstand all types of abuse and disruptive environments. Tundra comes with dual displays, which are an external 1-inch screen that has 96 x 80 pixel resolutions and 65K colors, and an internal 2.2-inch LCD screen with 240 x 320 pixel resolutions and 262K colors. You can find some useful info displayed by external display, such as incoming calls, battery life, signal strength, and current date and time.
Motorola generously gives Tundra 100 MB internal memory, still expandable via optional MicroSD memory cards up to 8 GB in size. This old mobile phone’s internal phonebook has room for up to 1000 contact entries with multiple numbers per contact. It also supports ringer ID, picture ID and caller groups. Motorola Tundra comes with 1130 mAh lithium-ion battery with up to 4 hours of talk time, and up to 336 hours of standby time.
